Fred’s Fresh Vegetarian Cooking The weekends will be a vegetarian approach to the old magic in the kitchen. Food is not merely for filling that hole in your stomach! It has also certain effects on your physical, emotional and mental health. A selection of the following will be highlighted and practiced: Bread, soup, pasta, stir fry, tofu, rice, desserts, herb teas, sauces, dressings, veg burgers, jams, tarts, cookies, salads and a broad range of vegetables There are four cookery weekends planned each year, each highlighting the foods available at the time. So a stir fry in the early summer will be totally different to the one in the middle of winter. Fred likes to be creative in the kitchen so you will be free to be as creative as you want thus each weekend will have new and creative ideas for the kitchen. The weekends are designed in such a way, that you prepare the foods your self. There will be demonstrations but the biggest part is that you are the one who is doing most of the cooking. Bring you partner or friend! We also offer the opportunity to do both; join the course and avail of one or two relaxing therapies at the same time! To avail of this opportunity, therapies may be scheduled for an ‘after lunch break’ on the Saturday, but it would be better to arrive on the Friday afternoon or to allow time on the Sunday afternoon after the course.
